A 41-year-old Marysville woman was arrested on North Maple Street and charged with assault after allegedly slapping her daughter's boyfriend in the face.

Marysville police March 15

• A resident of Wedgewood Drive reported golf clubs were missing from the garage.

• A 36-year-old Mechanicsburg woman was arrested on Grove Court on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court. Drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle, police reports said.

• A 24-year-old Marysville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court. Marijuana was also found in the residence, according to police.

March 16

• Police received a report that a male was bitten by a German shepherd on West Fourth Street.

• A student at the Marysville High School reported another student burned the hair off his arm with a lighter while they were in gym class.

• A 34-year-old Marysville man was arrested in Delaware on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court. The warrant was issued after the man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.

• Several ruts were found in the grass around the paved path on the grounds of the Catholic Cemetery.

• A man reported two large aggressive dogs were running loose on East Fourth Street. The Union County Dog Warden was contacted.

• A 17-year-old boy was observed selling marijuana to two other males on Redwood Drive.

• A West Fifth Street resident reported an acquaintance broke into her home and stole her English mastiff puppy.

• A 22-year-old Marysville man charged with failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, OVI, driving in marked lanes and speed, following a pursuit on state Route 4.

March 17

• A 41-year-old Marysville woman was arrested on North Maple Street and charged with assault after allegedly slapping her daughter's boyfriend in the face.

• Two residents on Meadows Drive reported attempts were made to break into their apartments. Pry marks and puncture holes were located on the door locks and door frames, police reports said.

• A Coventry Place resident reported her 11-year-old son was shot in the back with an air-soft gun by two other boys.

• A 49-year-old Michigan man was arrested and charged with OVI following a traffic stop on East Fifth Street.

March 18

• A 31-year-old Broadway man was arrested on North Main Street on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court.

• An employee with CSX Railroad reported wire was stolen somewhere between Cherry and Main streets.

• An East Seventh Street resident reported the back window of his vehicle was broken out.

• A resident on Hickory Drive reported someone broke into a neighbor's home and stole a television.

March 19

• A Marysville resident reported his son was being threatened by another student at Creekview Intermediate School on Creekview Drive.

• The manager of apartments on West Third Street reported a resident accidentally discharged a firearm on March 15. No injuries were reported.

March 20

• A 19-year-old Marysville man was arrested on West Third Street, on an outstanding warrant and for possession of drugs.

• Employees at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported a customer drove off without paying for $48 worth of gas.

Union County Sheriff March 15

• A woman reported an altercation with her spouse at a home in the 22000 block of state Route 739.

March 16

• Deputies responded to state Route 4 and County Home Road to assist Marysville police with stopping a vehicle stopped that failed to yield during a traffic stop. The driver of the 2009 Turquoise Chevrolet later crashed in the 15000 block of Hillview Road, where he was arrested and transported to the Tri-County Regional jail by Marysville officers.

March 17

• A woman reported she was bit by a black minivan while she was walking beside the road in the 15000 block of Meyers Road. The vehicle then left the scene.

• An injury accident was in the area of Moore and Wolford Maskill roads.

• A 29-year-old Delaware woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Dublin police. She was relayed to one of their units.

• A non-injury accident was reported in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 36 involving truck and an SUV. A 76-year-old Mt. Vernon man was cited for signals when passing/assured clear distance ahead when passing.

March 18

• While on a traffic stop in the area of US 33 and US 42, a deputy arrested

An 18-year-old Milford Center woman was charged with OVI in the area of U.S. routes 33 and 42. Another 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl from Milford Center were charged with underage consumption. All three were released to the 17-year-old's mother.

• A 28-year-old Milford Center man was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct after an incident at a home on Greenfield Drive in Milford Center. He was taken to Tri-County jail. A 35-year-old North Lewisburg man was charged with disorderly conduct.

• An 18-year-old Prospect woman was cited for operating a motor vehicle without due regard for conditions after a two-vehicle accident in the 20000 block of state Route 4.

March 19

• Employees at a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway reported the theft of approximately $2,700 worth of fuel.

March 20

• Deputies arrested a 30-year-old Urbana woman and a 29-year-old Woodstock man in connection with the theft of several batteries from a business in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 42. They were charged with theft, criminal trespassing and obstructing official business. The woman was also cited for driving under suspension.
