A juvenile is expected to be charged in connection with a break-in and vandalism incident at Mill Valley Swimming Pool on Creekview Drive.

Marysville police received a report Aug. 5 about breaking and entering and criminal damaging at the pool, which is owned by Borror Properties.

According to police, severe damage was caused throughout the facility overnight, including to urinals, mirrors, clocks, toilets, lifeguard chairs, tables and other items. The cost of the damage has not yet been determined.

Police said they, with assistance from the community, identified a juvenile suspect who has been interviewed and confessed to the incident.

In other recent incident reports from the Marysville Division of Police:

* A customer at a business on North Main Street reported at 12:22 a.m. Aug. 8 that another customer attempted to stab him with a broken beer bottle. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

* A resident of Timberview Drive reported a handgun and personal identification were stolen from his vehicle at 8:59 a.m. Aug. 6.

* An employee of a business on London Avenue reported at 4:27 p.m. Aug. 6 someone had accessed payroll information.

* An antique brass bed and box springs were stolen from the front of a residence on Palm Drive at 7:18 p.m. Aug. 9.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen from a residence on East Fifth Street at 6:13 p.m. Aug. 11.

* A 34-year-old Marysville woman was charged with theft from a business on West Fifth Street at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12.

* A theft was reported at 12:11 a.m. Aug. 13 from a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.

* Police received a report at 4:11 p.m. Aug. 12 regarding unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. According to the report, a juvenile girl engaged in sexual activity with a 20-year-old man.

* A window at a Collins Avenue business was reported broken at 7:07 a.m. Aug. 12.

* At 1:16 p.m. Aug. 7, a resident of Allenby Drive reported someone in California filed an income tax return using his identity.

* A Marysville man was arrested and charged with persistently disorderly conduct at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 8 following an incident at his Cottonwood Drive residence.

* A 52-year-old North Lewisburg man was arrested and charged with OVI following a traffic crash at 10:39 p.m. Aug. 7 on West Fourth Street.

* A 57-year-old Plain City man was arrested and charged with OVI and an open container violation during a traffic stop at 7:07 p.m. Aug. 9 on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.

Union County Sheriff's Office

Deputies from the Union County Sheriff's Office went to a residence in the 23000 block of Davis Road at 12:40 p.m. Aug. 11 to investigate the theft of 100 to 150 hay bales and a complaint of horses being set loose.

In other recent incident reports from the Union County Sheriff's Office:

* A theft from a vehicle was reported at 11:52 a.m. Aug. 7 on Marriott Street in Richwood.

* An exhaust system was reported stolen at 8 p.m. Aug. 7 from a vehicle parked at a business in the 8200 block of Estates Parkway.

* Steel pipes were reported stolen at 8:06 a.m. Aug. 10 at a business in the 8000 block of Rausch Drive.

* A business in the 14000 block of U.S. Route 42 reported at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 12 a fraudulent FedEx account was set up in the business' name.

* At 3:26 p.m. Aug. 12, a deputy investigated a report of a bad check sent to the 8500 block of U.S. Route 42.

* Deputies went to a residence in the 21000 block of Westlake Lee Road at 1:21 a.m. Aug. 8 on a report that several vehicles were parked on the side of the road. They found several underage people at a party where alcohol was involved.
