Marysville City Council on Dec. 3 approved two contracts with the Ohio Department of Education that will allow them to do improvements in the city.

Council members OKed a contract that will allow ODOT to make a fix on the state Route 4 bridge over U.S. Route 33 after it was damaged by a vehicle collision.

Another contract will replace some sidewalks on West Fifth Street through ODOT's Safe Routes to School program.
