At 5:24 a.m. Nov. 25 on U.S. Route 33 near Poling Road, a semi-tractor trailer struck the rear of a 2003 Jeep Liberty. Two people were transported to Union County Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck, a 64-year-old Osgood man, was cited for failure to maintain assured cleared distance.

* Deputies took reports from four drivers who hit deer last week.

A 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt struck a deer at 8:29 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 32000 block of Carter Road and a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox struck a deer at 7:28 a.m. Nov. 30 on Industrial Parkway near Kimberly Drive.

Two incidents were reported on Dec. 1. A 2012 Chevrolet Express struck a deer at 12:54 p.m. on state Route 4 near Boerger Road and a 2015 Ford Escape struck a deer at 4:16 a.m. on U.S. Route 33 near the westbound rest area.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen from a residence in the 21000 block of Evans Road at 12:50 a.m. Nov. 28.

* A 34-year-old Marion woman was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and cited for failure to drive in marked lanes at 5:01 p.m. Nov. 28 after a traffic stop on U.S. Route 42 near Watkins California Road. She was transported to the sheriff's office.

* A 2010 Ford Edge was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene at 1:12 a.m. Nov. 29 on West Center Street in Milford Center.

* As a result of a traffic stop on County Road 153 just inside Logan County, a 27-year-old Middleburg man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence at 2:14 a.m. Nov. 29. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

* A 55-year-old Marysville man was cited for failure to control at 6:27 a.m. Dec. 1 after the 1999 Honda Civic he was driving went off the road in the 21000 block of Shirk Road and hit a utility pole.

* A resident in the 15000 block of State Road reported the theft of a yard decoration and a barn door at 7:36 a.m. Dec. 1.

* At 5:38 p.m. Dec. 1 a deputy was sent to a detention facility in the 18000 block of state Route 4 to investigate an assault involving two juveniles.

Marysville police

* A resident of South Court Street reported at 8:59 p.m. Nov. 25 that someone entered her house and stole an uninstalled deadbolt lock.

* A mailbox on Valley Drive was reported damaged at 6:24 a.m. Nov. 26.

* At 1:25 p.m. Nov. 26, a staff member at Marysville High School, 800 Amrine Mill Road, reported a swastika had been painted on the spirit rock in front of the school.

* A 42-year-old West Mansfield woman was charged with disorderly conduct at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 following an incident at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.

* A 19-year-old Orient man was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor following a traffic stop on East Seventh Street at 9:49 p.m. Nov. 28.

* A 41-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with assault following an incident on Sumac Drive at 1:03 a.m. Nov. 29.

* Police charged a 31-year-old East Liberty woman with driving under suspension following a traffic crash at 3:24 p.m. Nov. 29 in the parking lot of a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard. She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant issued through Marysville Municipal Court.

* An East Fifth Street reported at 11:01 a.m. Nov. 30 that his mailbox had been stolen.

* At 2:58 p.m. Nov. 30, a resident of Meadows Drive reported his apartment had been broken into and several items were stolen.
