Marysville police are investigating a vandalism incident at the pool in the Mill Valley development, 2301 Creekview Drive, that was reported at 6:19 a.m. July 6.

According to reports someone sprayed red paint on a wall of a building adjacent to the basketball court on the pool grounds.

An officer who was patrolling in the area between midnight and 2:30 a.m. reported he did not see any paint on the wall.

Later however, an officer saw the paint at 6:19 a.m. and based on its odor, it is believed the paint appeared to have been applied no more than two hours earlier.

Reports said police have no suspects.

* At 3:10 a.m. June 30 a 20-year-old Marysville woman was arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol after an incident on Grove Street.

* A 39-year-old Marysville man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana at At 1:41 a.m. July 2.

* Theft was reported at a business on Milford Avenue at 2:02 a.m. July 3.

* At 1:41 a.m. July 3 a 19-year-old Marysville man, a 19-year-old Orient man, and a juvenile were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

* Three compact discs and change totaling about $2 were reported stolen at 2:44 p.m. July 3 from a motor vehicle parked at a business on Industrial Parkway.

* At 3:16 p.m. July 4 a 56-year-old London resident reported someone fraudulently withdrew $400 from his bank account.

* A resident of West Eighth Street reported the theft of prescription medication at 10:50 p.m. July 4.

* At 4:29 p.m. July 5 a resident of Terrace Drive reported his vehicle was damaged by a golf ball.

* At 10:48 a.m. July 5 a resident of West Fifth Street reported theft of photography equipment.

* A resident of the 700 block of Kenny Lane reported damage to her house at 11:42 a.m. July 6.

Reports said a window and a screen at the woman's apartment were damaged.

* At 5:36 p.m. July 6 a resident of Sherwood Avenue reported a theft of a checkbook and prescription medicine from her residence.

* At 9:26 p.m. July 6 a 28-year-old Prospect woman and a 27-year-old Marysville woman were cited for Disorderly Conduct after they were fighting in the 100 block of Vine Street.

Sheriff's reports

At 4:53 p.m. June 29 a resident on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs reported broken windows.

* Deputies were called to a residence in the 10000 block of state Route 736 at 5 p.m. June 29 to investigate a telephone scam involving calls from several people claiming to be with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and the Cuyahoga County courts system.

The victim, an 80-year-old Plain City man, was scammed out of $10,500 by converting cash to iTunes gifts cards.

At 10 a.m. June 30 a business in the 7500 block of Montgomery Drive reported the theft of driveway coating materials.

* At 6:12 p.m. June 30 a resident in the 31000 block of state Route 37 reported the theft of coins, jewelry, an Xbox game system and several video games.

* Sheriff's deputies and troopers from the Ohio Highway Patrol investigated damage to several mailboxes on Collins and Payne roads.

* At 1:36 p.m. July 3 deputies were sent to a farm in the 20000 block of Westlake Lee Road to investigate a trespassing complaint.

During the investigation, deputies discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle. The incident is being investigated.

* At 7:30 a.m. July 4 a resident on the 7300 block of Wells Road reported the theft of a 9 mm Ruger handgun.

* A resident in the 8900 block of Dunn Court reported the theft of golf clubs, a lacrosse stick and medical supplies from a garage at 3:55 p.m. July 4.

* At 4:58 p.m. July 4 a resident in the 13000 block of state Route 347 reported damage caused by a .22-caliber rifle bullet to the door of a trailer that was caused by a .22 caliber rifle bullet.

* Representatives of a business in the 14000 block of Smart Cole Road reported the theft of a Garmin global positioning system, a tool box and a battery jump-start pack from a vehicle.

* At 12:51 p.m. July 5 a 17-year-old boy on Pleasant Street in Milford Center reported attempted extortion involving a video that was created while on a social media website. Reports said the extortion attempt involves a threat to release the video recording if money was not paid.

* A resident on Reed Street in Milford Center reported the theft of a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck at 7:02 p.m. July 5.

* At 7:37 p.m. July 5 a resident in the 31000 block of state Route 37 reported the theft of two flat screen televisions.
