The resident, who contacted officers at 10:22 a.m., said $1,000 worth of shoes, a jacket valued at $1,000, a $900 television set and a laptop computer also worth $900 were among the items stolen. Someone had gained access to the home by breaking a basement window, causing $100 in damage, reports stated.

* An Atwood Terrace man accused another of assaulting him at a business on Sandalwood Boulevard at 9:16 p.m. March 5. The other man said he was defending his wife and would only say there had been a fight between the two, the report stated. "This situation stems from an ongoing issue with smoking in the foyer of the business," an officer noted. "The two had allegedly exchanged words regarding the issue."

* Police were summoned to a North Meadows Court address at noon March 5 on a complaint that a juvenile had been threatened.

According to the person filing the complaint, not identified in the report, the suspect in the case told the youth he was going to bring a gun to school in order to harm him.

* The manager of a store on Morse Centre Drive reported at 10:15 a.m. March 4 that an employee had embezzled $3,817.28 in two separate incidents two days earlier. According to the report, the suspect was given two cash deposits from the safe totaling $3,187.29 at 11:18 a.m. March 3 and told to take the cash to the bank, returning with change. The reporting officer was told the employee came back with the change but never made the deposit. The same thing happened with a $630 deposit the employee was supposed to make that same day at 1:40 p.m., the report stated.
