The North YMCA will be the community partner of the Northland Area Business Association golf outing for the third year in a row.

NABA President Dave Cooper made the announcement last week.

The 12th NABA golf outing will take place on Thursday, Sept. 15, Cooper said.

The cost is $125 for each golfer to play 18 holes.

As community partner in the fundraising event, the YMCA branch on Sandalwood Place will receive 20 percent of the proceeds. That came to $240.37 from the 2015 event at York Country Club.

Y officials are free to spend the money as they wish, Cooper said.

"Everything the Y does is beneficial to the community, I can assure you of that," he said at the business organization's quarterly luncheon meeting.
