Two Georgia men, ages 20 and 39, said someone broke into their car late on April 23 or early the next morning while they were performing at Alrosa Villa, 5055 Sinclair Road. The two said the driver's-side window of the vehicle was smashed between 10:55 p.m. and 12:20 a.m. The thief or thieves made off with $3,500 in cash, a computer valued at $3,000, a $450 handgun, miscellaneous clothing and various other items.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 37-year-old man reported at 9:04 p.m. April 22 that he had been robbed while walking near the intersection of Stonecastle Drive and Granite Way Lane.

He said he was attacked by one of five men who were walking in the opposite direction. As they drew abreast of him, the man said one of the group struck him in the head just above his right eye with a pipe. He said he fell to the ground and the man with the pipe reached into his pockets and removed his $250 cellphone, $600 in cash and an identification card from Honduras. The other four just stood by and watched, the victim told officers.

* A 24-year-old Carahan Road woman told an officer she was assaulted at 8:40 p.m. April 21 by another woman. Police reports said the victim stated that her alleged attacker was angry with her "because they were both cheating on their boyfriends with the same guy." The victim said the other woman grabbed her hair from behind and struck her in the eye with a closed fist. The second woman said the victim spit in her face and they were both mutually fighting.

* A $140 cellphone and a laptop computer valued at $200 were stolen in a burglary reported at 10:28 p.m. April 20. The 67-year-old resident of the Red Robin Road apartment said his home was broken into sometime after 8:45 p.m.

* An officer was sent to an address on Northtowne Boulevard at 4:41 p.m. April 20 regarding the theft of a $500 cellphone from a juvenile that had taken place an hour earlier.

* A 26-year-old woman said her boyfriend woke her up in her Karl Road apartment at 2:47 a.m. April 19. The two got into an argument, she said, during the course of which he "bear-hugged her around the waist and lifted her off the ground" and then dropped her, causing her to land on her head, police reports said. The woman fled to a neighbor's apartment where she called police. The boyfriend knocked on the neighbor's door before leaving the scene in the victim's car, according to the report.
