In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 53-year-old man told police he was robbed at gunpoint by more than one person in the 2100 block of Yorkhull Lane at 1 p.m. July 16. He said the robbers made off with $240 in cash, fleeing the scene of the crime eastbound.

* Someone kicked down the door of a North Meadows Boulevard residence July 15 and stole a $300 television set and a laptop computer valued at $275. The resident, a 22-year-old woman, filed the report at 7:11 p.m. She said the burglary occurred between 7:20 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

* A representative of a Karl Road business filed a report July 16 at 4:49 p.m. saying an employee committed embezzlement July 15 by stealing $160 worth or car batteries.

* A 40-year-old woman said someone threw her to the ground and choked her in an Arborwood Court apartment at 12:50 p.m. July 15.

* A 30-year-old Minerva Avenue woman reported at 1:29 p.m. July 14 that her home had been broken into and her checkbook stolen. She said the burglary took place between 8:50 a.m. and noon.

* The owner of a business on Byers Circle East contacted police at 3:30 p.m. July 13 to accuse his partner in the enterprise of embezzlement. According to the report, a business check in the amount of $2,658.78 was being used for personal matters.
