A representative of a car wash in the 4800 block of Cleveland Avenue filed a burglary complaint at 12:36 p.m. Oct. 7 against someone he said had taken equipment worth $7,510 from a garage attached to the business, including a $7,000 pressure washer. The alleged theft occurred between 3 and 9 p.m. Oct. 3, police reports said.

* A 28-year-old Tamarack Circle North woman told an officer she was assaulted at 10:13 p.m. Oct. 12

The woman said she had gotten into an argument with someone who owed her money. According to the police report, the second person slapped the woman in the mouth, causing a swollen and bloody lip. The suspect fled the scene before the officer arrived. A Division of Fire medic treated the woman at the scene.

* Officers investigated an assault complaint at 3:16 p.m. Oct. 13 at the intersection of Manitoba and Taymouth roads. The incident involved two suspects and two victims, all juveniles, and it took place on a Westerville City Schools bus.
