Two Tamarack Boulevard men, ages 28 and 26, were arrested for discharging firearms outside their apartment building at 12:03 a.m. Dec. 15.

The reporting officer said he was in plain clothes and was "in the area monitoring activities due to numerous calls for police service." While in the parking lot of the apartment building, the officer said he observed one of the suspects walk out and fire three shots from a handgun into the air.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 23-year-old Kelton Avenue man was arrested on charges of robbery, possession of drugs and traffic offenses in the 5900 block of North Meadows Boulevard at 2:21 p.m. Dec. 14.

The police report lists a 44-year-old man and a cellphone store as the victims. Items taken in the robbery included $10 worth of candy, gum and food.

* A 38-year-old man said he was robbed of $200 in cash and a debit card at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 13. He said the robbery, which was committed by more than one person, took place in the 2200 block of Brooklyn Road. He added that he did not know any of the robbers.

* A 20-year-old woman contacted police at 7:27 p.m. Dec. 12 to say she had been beaten in the 800 block of North Meadows Court.
