Roughly $8,200 in cash was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. April 13 from a residence in the 4400 block of Wilson Road, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports. Other stolen items include a laser level worth $1,500, a John Deere lawn mower worth $900 and a toolbox worth $50, according to reports.

Tools and electronics worth $2,000 were stolen between 8 a.m. April 8 and 4:18 p.m. April 9 from a residence in the 4100 block of North State Street, according to reports. Someone forced entry into the residence and stole a television, a nail gun, a sewing machine and an electric generator, reports said.

Electronics and jewelry totaling $1,656 were stolen between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 10 from a residence in the 700 block of North Old State Road, reports said. A deputy responded to find that someone had broken into the home and had stolen a television, a video-game console and various costume jewelry, according to reports.

A Powell man reported someone stole a briefcase from his vehicle between 1:05 and 2:05 p.m. April 13 while it was parked in a lot in the 8800 block of Owenfield Drive. The thief forced entry by breaking out a passenger-side window, with damages totaling $800, reports said.

A Powell man was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at about 2:23 a.m. April 20 near the fist block of Grace Drive, Powell police said. According to reports, the suspect was stopped after drifting right of center, and was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a pipe.

A handheld barcode scanner worth $500 was stolen between 5 p.m. April 13 and 7:30 a.m. April 16 from a vehicle parked near the 4000 block of Landhigh Lakes Drive, police said.
