Delaware County 4-H Committee, third annual Fore for 4-H Golf Outing, June 23, at Bent Tree Golf Club in Sunbury. The event includes 18 holes of golf, complimentary snacks, goody bag, a silent auction and a Legacy Dinner. In addition, golfers will have the chance to win $25,000 via a Hole In One Contest. Proceeds benefit youth in Delaware County through scholarships, awards and educational materials. Council for Older Adults, free New to Medicare class for individuals who are turning 65 years old and plan to enroll in Medicare, 10 a.m. to noon, the second Wednesday of each month, and 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Center for Older Adults, 800 Cheshire Road in Delaware. Worthington Hills Garden Club, noon June 12, at the Worthington Hills Country Club, 920 Clubview Blvd. The program will be "Not the Last of the Mohicans," with Cheryl Harner discussing Mohican State Park, a park with some of the most valuable natural resources set aside for preservation.
