Liberty Township trustees Dec. 7 delayed a vote on a zoning change for a proposed 64-unit condominium development just north of the Franklin County border.

Epcon Communities plans to build the single-family condos, a clubhouse and a swimming pool at 10635 and 10665 Sawmill Road in the township.

Epcon officials asked the township to table the rezoning request untilDec. 21, when the full board is expected to be available to vote.

Board member Tom Mitchell was absent Dec. 7.

The township's zoning commission previously voted 4-1 to reject the rezoning request.
