Elizabeth McLaughlin-Krile of Powell, the Ohio State Bar Association director of membership services, recently earned the Certified Association Executive designation. This designation is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

To earn the designation, McLaughlin-Krile was required to have at least three years of experience with nonprofit organization management, a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management and pledge to uphold a code of ethics.
