The Pickerington High School North After Prom Committee would like to thank the businesses, parents, teachers, staff and students who made it possible for us to provide a fun and safe evening for our students. It takes a community to make a difference.
Once again, our community pulled together to touch the lives of our students.
We deeply appreciated the businesses willing to lend a helping hand to make the event possible. Despite the economic times, businesses in our area were extremely generous.
Our sponsors include Laura's Loft, 5 Bean Coffee, Party by Mee, BJ's Bouquets, PHSN SADD, PHSN Music Boosters, Janet Thiede & Associates-Real Living HER, Peace United Methodist Church and Violet Elementary PTO.
Because of the generous support of various school groups, the committee was able to keep ticket prices as low as $5. We would like to extend our thanks to Fairfield, Tussing, Violet, Harmon, Lakeview, and PHSN PTO's for their cash donations. Other cash contributors included the PHSN Athletic Boosters, North Track Club, Panther Goal Club, and the PHSN Student Council.
Food sponsors included Drug Mart, Kingys, Classics Pizza, Dominos, Grapevine, Tarantos, DaVincis, PHSN staff and PHSN Creative Foods classes led by Terry Bauer.
This year more than 135 raffle prizes were available thanks to Becky Bumgartner-Keller Williams Greater Ohio, Bed Bath and Beyond, Beef O'Brady's, Cincinnati Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation, Bob Evans, Cold Stone Creamery, Cracker Barrel, Culver's, Donatos, El Acapulco, EmbroideMe, Englefield Oil Company, Fairfield Federal, Freda's Hair Designs, Giant Eagle, Graeter's, Huntington National Bank, Jazzercise East, Kent Smith Photography, Kroger-Hill Road, Kroger-Refugee Road, LaFogata Mexican Grill, Lifestyle Family Fitness, Logan's Roadhouse, Loose Ends, Mail Center Plus, Max & Ermas, Meijers-Canal Winchester, Mira Bella Salon, O'Charley's, Olive Garden, Panera, Pickerington Community Theatre, Quiznos, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Smoothie King, Sport Clips Haircuts, Taco Bell, The Andersons General Store, the Columbus Crew, the Memorial Tournament and Uno Chicago Grill.
We'd like to thank everyone who gave of their time, talent and energy to make After Prom possible.
By the end of the evening, we were all tired and happy. The participants had a great time. The students were appreciative. We hope that After Prom 2009 will always be fondly remembered.
We look forward to an even better event next year.
