More than 100 members of the Pickerington High School North Theatre Department will present "White Christmas" at the high school Dec. 3-6.

More than 100 members of the Pickerington High School North Theatre Department will present "White Christmas" at the high school Dec. 3-6.

"White Christmas" is based on the holiday musical movie of the same title starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen.

The performances will take place at PHS North, 7800 Refugee Road, at 8 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4. On Dec. 5, performances are scheduled at 2 and 8 p.m.

The final performance will take place at PHS North at 2 p.m. Dec. 6.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or seats can be reserved by calling (614) 830-2750. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for toddlers through high school students.

A free preview for those age 60 and older will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 at PHS North. Tickets also will be sold at the door to those younger than 60 for this performance.

The American Red Cross of Fairfield County is seeking nominations for its seventh annual Heroes Breakfast, to be held Feb. 9, 2010.

Qualified individuals include those who have participated in a heroic event, such as saving a life, as well as those who live their lives as heroes. Categories include workplace hero, youth hero, health care hero, education hero, community hero, public safety hero, senior adult hero and the Director's Award.

Nomination forms are available at any county library branch or may be accessed online at http://fairfieldcountyohio.redcross.org.

Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, Dec. 23.
