Three of last year's four Division I district champions in high school boys basketball will be among those hitting the floor this weekend in the 14th annual Jared Sullinger Ohio Scholastic Play-by-Play Classic at Ohio Dominican.

Three of last year's four Division I district champions in high school boys basketball will be among those hitting the floor this weekend in the 14th annual Jared Sullinger Ohio Scholastic Play-by-Play Classic at Ohio Dominican.

The two-day event features three games Saturday, Jan. 23, and five Sunday, Jan. 24.

The opening game Jan. 23 will pit Dublin Jerome against Northland at 6:45 p.m. in a rematch of a regional semifinal won by the Vikings 66-61 last season. Northland, which features 6-foot-7 senior forward and Harvard recruit Seth Towns, was fourth and Jerome was fifth in last week's area coaches poll.

That contest will be followed by a matchup between 2015 state runner-up Westerville South and Pickerington Central at 8:30 p.m.

South is led by 6-9 junior post player Kaleb Wesson, an Ohio State commit, and was first in last week's area coaches poll and fifth in the state poll. Central features 6-5 senior guard and Michigan recruit Ibi Watson and 6-6 senior forward and Northern Kentucky commit Jalen Tate.

The final game of the night, which is scheduled to start at 9:45 p.m., matches Dublin Coffman against Walnut Ridge. The Shamrocks, who are led by 6-0 senior guard and Elon commit Seth Fuller, were eighth in last week's state poll as well as the area coaches poll. The Scots were a Division II state semifinalist last season and were sixth in last week's Division I area coaches poll.

DeSales will open the action Jan. 24 by playing Dayton Ponitz at 12:30 p.m., followed by a matchup between Whitehall, a Division II district runner-up last season, and Hilliard Bradley at 2:15 p.m. Whitehall was first and DeSales was fifth in last week's Division II area coaches poll.

Rounding out the schedule are matchups between New Albany and Pickerington North at 4 p.m., Gahanna and Cleveland Heights at 5:45 p.m. and Watterson and Mansfield Senior at 7:30 p.m.

Gahanna, which was a Division I district runner-up last season and features 6-9 senior post player and Michigan State recruit Nick Ward, was second in last week's area coaches poll and seventh in the state poll.

Watterson was second in the Division II area coaches poll.
