American Legion Reynoldsburg Post 798, Memorial Day ceremony, 5 p.m. May 24 at the Silent Home Cemetery, 1576 Lancaster Ave. The ceremony will include the retiring of the old colors on the flagpole and raising of the new flag. Also, a new veterans' memorial will be dedicated at the flag pole. This permanent memorial is provided by the American Legion Post and the Truro Township trustees in honor of the veterans resting at Silent Home. After the ceremony, Boy Scout Troop 777 and Reynoldsburg post officers and members will place American flags next to all veterans' headstones. Any volunteers are welcome to assist.
