Junior Tyler Wall and sophomore Travis Wall, both Upper Arlington graduates, were named first-team all-NCAC in men's soccer. Tyler Wall, a forward, was named the NCAC's Offensive Player of the Year. He was second on the team and fifth in the conference in scoring, and he tied for the lead in the OAC in assists (11).

Junior Katie Navarre, an Upper Arlington graduate, led the Denison women's cross country team at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships, which were held Nov. 14. Navarre won the 6-kilometer race in 21 minutes, 23 seconds, finishing more than five seconds better than runner-up Lauren Reich of DePauw.

Upper Arlington High School has announced the creation of a new athletics Web site.

The site, www.uagoldenbears.com., was created by Ellen Clark, a 1969 UA graduate. Teams can put information on the site including schedules, maps to events, information on facilities and medical forms for parents to print out. Teams that already have Web sites will be linked from the new site.

The Ohio Wesleyan softball coaches and players will hold a defense and baserunning clinic on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for girls grades 5-12. Registration is limited to 50 participants per clinic. Sports 101 is offering a youth basketball league in Pickerington, Grove City, Lewis Center and the Blacklick/Reynoldsburg area for boys and girls ages 3-17. The eight-week season will run from Jan. 9 through March 7. All players will receive a reversible jersey, matching shorts and ticket to the Cleveland Cavaliers-New York Knicks game on Feb. 6 in Cleveland.
