For the second consecutive season, Hilliard Davidson has won the Super 7 poll championship. The Wildcats were No. 2 in the preseason and took over the top spot the following week. A year ago, following a 10-0 regular season, the Wildcats advanced to a Division I state semifinal where they lost to Huber Heights Wayne 28-14 to finish 13-1.

As we put close the book on another regular season, it's worth a look back at our preseason poll, which was led by Central. The Tigers were followed by Davidson, Dublin Coffman, Watterson, Upper Arlington, DeSales and Marion-Franklin. Only Watterson didn't make the playoffs. And speaking of the playoffs, good luck to all central Ohio teams.
