The Central Crossing High School football team will look to build on a 43-35 victory over Westland on Oct. 14 when it visits Upper Arlington on Friday, Oct. 21.

The win over the Cougars snapped a four-game losing streak. The Comets improved to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the OCC-Central, while UA is 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the league after a 42-21 win over Marysville on Oct. 14.

"Upper Arlington is a very good team," coach Chris Harr said. "A veteran defense has been the strength of the team. We are excited to play them."

Against Westland, Deric Williamson completed 23 of 37 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns. Pierre France rushed for 78 yards on 14 carries.

The Comets led 28-21 in the third quarter before extending the advantage on Williamson's 47-yard touchdown pass to Troy Speakman and 28-yard scoring pass to Tyrese Kelso.
