The city of Upper Arlington will provide free leaf collection services to residents through Friday, Dec. 10, weather permitting.

Leaves must be raked to the curb by 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, to ensure inclusion in the final collection.

Residents are asked to be mindful of the following guidelines:

Leaf piles should not exceed 4 feet in width and be no further than 2 feet behind the curb.

Do not place any rocks, sticks or other objects in leaf piles.

Keep leaf piles away from sign posts, light poles, trees and mailboxes.

Do not allow leaf piles to block storm sewers, as this can increase the chance of flooding in the event of heavy rain.

When leaf collection is not in effect, residents may place leaves in approved biodegradable bags or refuse cans. Leaves may also be dropped off at the Regional Composting Facility, 4100 Roberts Road.
