A resident in the 1500 block of Lafayette Drive told police that more than $2,000 worth of hunting equipment was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

A resident in the 1500 block of Lafayette Drive told police that more than $2,000 worth of hunting equipment was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

The list includes a compound bow valued at $800, tree saddles valued at $499, climbing sticks valued at $190 and two global-positioning service devices valued at $190 and $159, respectively.

The items were taken while his vehicle was parked outside his home between 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. Dec. 6.

Also taken were a rangefinder valued at $150, a bow case valued at $130 and tress steps valued at $90.

According to the report, the items were stored in the trunk. Access to the trunk was gained by entering the unlocked car and opening the trunk via a glove compartment button, police reports said.

In other Upper Arlington Division of Police reports:

* The back garage door to a vacant home in the 1800 block of Wyandotte Road was kicked in between 1 p.m. Dec. 5 and noon Dec. 6, and an air conditioning compressor valued at $2,000 was stolen. Also reported stolen was $50 worth of copper piping from the home.

A neighbor reported seeing a dark blue Jeep Cherokee cruising slowly through the neighborhood on the afternoon of the incident, police reports said.

* Workers at a home under construction in the 2000 block of Tremont Road reported multiple thefts occurred at the job site between 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. Dec. 6. Taken were a kerosene heater valued at $350 and kerosene cans valued at $150, as well as various tools for which values weren't reported, including a framing gun, air hose, table saw, impact drill, 30-gallon compressor, tiger saw, extension cords, a nail gun, a radio and a partner saw.

Upon investigation, police determined copper piping had been cut throughout the house, and that the point of entry was through an exposed, unsecured window.

* Workers for a Columbus company remodeling a home in the 2300 block of Andover Road reported someone broke into the house between 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 8 a.m. Dec. 2 and stole $1,300 worth of building supplies, an air compressor valued at $150 and an air compressor hose valued at $75.

* A resident in the 4000 block of Fairfax Drive reported an unsuccessful attempt was made to pry open a door and window to her home between 9 p.m. Nov. 23 and 5 p.m. Nov. 30.
