Midfielder Helen Fite led the Jaguars with two goals. Midfielders Gwenth Hughes and Abbey Mayne and attackers Riley Barnwell and Natalie Morse each scored one and goalkeeper Derin Atekoja had six saves.

Boys lacrosse teamousted from tourney

The boys lacrosse team lost to Wooster 16-1 in the play-in round of the Division II Central Region tournament May 22 to finish 2-16.

Doubles team fallsin district opener

Juniors Lincoln Ficek and Lucas Rooney of the boys tennis team lost to Columbus Academy's Evan Alexander and Ryan Jung 6-4, 7-5 in the first round of doubles in the Division II district tournament May 24 at Academy.

Causey's season endsat district track meet

Keilah Causey competed in two events in the Division III girls track and field district meet May 21, 22 and 25 at Hamilton Township.

The freshman placed 11th in the long jump in 14 feet, 2 1/2 inches and finished 26th in the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 59 seconds.

The top four finishers in each district event advanced to the regional meet May 29 and Friday, May 31, at Fairfield Union.
