The 2015 Westgate Home & Garden Tour takes place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 13, with registration at the West Gate Masonic Lodge, 2925 W. Broad St.

Advance tickets are $10 and are available online at westgateneighbors.org and at the following locations: Haldeman Cleaners, 3115 W. Broad St., and Gearhart's True Value Hardware Store, 2885 W. Broad St. On the day of the tour, tickets are $12 and can be purchased only at the registration tent.

The tour will feature more than just nine traditional stops.

One homeowner will showcase a backyard urban homestead, complete with four chickens.

Another homeowner has converted a garage into a casual year-round living area, complete with a full kitchen and entertainment center.

In addition to three house-with-garden stops, three house-only stops and two garden-only stops, this year's tour also includes the West Gate Masonic Temple, which was built in 1924. This building sits on nearly two acres that once was the entrance to Camp Chase, a Confederate POW camp during the Civil War.
