The Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners from its eighth annual Taste of Westerville, which featured food and drink from 21 Westerville businesses.

The Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners from its eighth annual Taste of Westerville, which featured food and drink from 21 Westerville businesses.

More than 215 people attended the April 20 event.

Selected by a panel of judges, J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steak earned the best appetizer award for its shrimp Durango; Bess' Cakery earned the best presentation award; and the Old Bag of Nails earned the best overall award for its crab cakes and clam chowder.

The People's Choice Award, selected by those attending the event, went to the Polaris Grill for its filet mignon sliders and to Bel Lago for its lobster mac and cheese and mini meatballs.
