At its final meeting of 2015, Westerville City Council established leadership positions for the next two years, including a shake-up in the offices of mayor and vice mayor.

Councilwoman Diane Fosselman, who was re-elected in November, declined to serve as mayor for another two years.

Instead, former mayor Kathy Cocuzzi was nominated for the role, and council member John Bokros will serve as vice mayor.

Cocuzzi, who has been on council since 2005, previously served as mayor for four years and has been vice mayor for the past two years.

Fosselman will return to a council representative role on the recreation advisory board, where she served for several years in the past.

Council Chairman Craig Treneff, who also was re-elected in November, will remain in his position, to which no one else was nominated. Larry Jenkins also will remain in his role as vice chairman.

Council members also maintained consistency with many representatives to city boards and commissions.
