The library will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday. The library also will close at 6 p.m. New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, and be closed all day Friday, Jan. 1, New Year's Day.

Registration for Winter I Storytime Sessions is underway. Storytimes start the week of Jan. 4. The 30-minute programs include Preschool Storytime, Read and Reach, Tales @ 10, Wonderworks and Yoga Tales. Call Youth Services or go online for details and to register.

Adults ages 18 and up can request a 3D Printing Service project by emailing or presenting the digital file at the Adult Services desk and receiving a cost quote. For details, visit westervillelibrary.org/3D or call ext. 4.

* Happy Birthday, Pippi!, 2 to 3:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28. Pippi Longstocking celebrates her 70th birthday this year. We'll read some of the classic books, make Swedish crafts and taste pepparkakor cookies. Ages 5-9. Meeting rooms. Registration required.

* You're Not Too Old for This!, 4 to 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29. Teens ages 12-18 can flash back to childhood with LEGOs, finger painting, snacks and more. Activity Center.

* Noon Year's Eve Puppet Show, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 31. Celebrate the New Year a few hours early with two stories: The Gingerbread Man and The Stinky Cheese Man. We'll sing songs and ring in the New Year. All ages. Meeting Rooms.

* Tunes & Tales, 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. with sign interpretation and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30. The annual presentation of Tunes & Tales will feature Barn Dance! performed by the Westerville Symphony and narrated by the library. After each half-hour performance, the musicians meet with children and share their instruments. Each family will receive a copy of the related book. For ages 4-8 and their families. Free.
