Kroger customers now are able to take advantage of online grocery shopping with curbside pickup at select central Ohio locations, including the store at 2090 Crown Plaza Drive in northwest Columbus and the Kroger Marketplace at 300 S. Hamilton Road, Gahanna.

Both stores debuted the ClickList feature June 23, making them the first locations in the area to offer the service, said Jennifer Jarrell, Kroger spokeswoman.

Kroger will continue to expand the availability of ClickList over the next several months to an additional six locations throughout Columbus, Hilliard, Lewis Center, Westerville and Worthington.

Nationally, Kroger began testing online grocery ordering in late 2014 and since has been collecting customers' feedback and improving the technology, Jarrell said.

ClickList is available to anyone with a Kroger Plus Card, Jarrell said. Customers can visit kroger.com/clicklist to create a free, online account. Next the customer selects a participating store and chooses a date and time to pick up their purchases. Orders must be placed before midnight the day before customers want to pick up their groceries. Pickup hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Kroger offers customers the opportunity to try ClickList for free when placing their first three orders. The grocer then charges $4.95 per ClickList order.
