* Mitten Tree and Food Drive, through Dec. 8. Hats and mittens, books for children and food and household supplies will be accepted in Youth Services and at donation receptacles in the library. Donations will be given to Westerville Caring & Sharing and the Westerville Area Resource Ministry for distribution. For details, call ext. 2164.

* Holiday Closing, Nov. 24. The library is closed for Thanksgiving.

* Music in the Atrium, 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 27 in the library Atrium. Relax to unique seasonal music plus original compositions and improvisations with harpist Trista Hill. This 15th annual series is made possible by the Friends of the Library.

* Moments of Grace: Exploring Near-Death and Related Experiences, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Meeting Rooms. Linda Manley, emergency nurse practitioner, will discuss her work and research in the area of near-death experiences. She will draw from 30 years of evidence-based research on NDEs and identify triggers, common elements and after-effects, along with offering advice for family and friends.

* History Doc & Talk: World War II, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1 in Meeting Room A. Watch the documentary "Pearl Harbor" and discuss the topics presented in the film. Registration required.
