The 12th-annual Columbus Fall Classic rowing regatta will be Saturday on the Hoover Reservoir.

More than 1,000 high school, college and adult athletes from Ohio and surrounding states are expected to participate in the event.

The one-, two-, four- and eight-person rowing teams will race on a 5,000-meter course. A master-level race will raise money for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure foundation.

Races begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at approximately 4:30 p.m. Visitors can park at Hoover's upper and lower dam parking lots, off of Sunbury Road at Smoke Burr, or in overflow parking at the Windsor Bay Shopping Center on County Line Road. Two shuttles will be running all day from the parking lots.

Admission, parking and shuttle service are free.
