Whitehall police charged six boys Nov. 24 with violation of the city's daytime curfew that applies to juveniles.

Three of the boys are 17 years old, one is 16 years old and two are 14 years old, according to reports.

Faculty at Whitehall-Yearling High School, 675 S. Yearling Road, flagged a passing officer and identified the six students as they returned to the school shortly after 10 a.m. Nov. 24, reports said.

Police interviewed the students, who allegedly told police they went to nearby Lamby Lane Park, where two of the boys fought, according to reports.

All six were charged and released to school officials.

* Police arrested a 35-year-old man on misdemeanor charges of assault and domestic violence at 11 p.m. Nov. 23 in connection with an assault in the 100 block of Collingwood Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a fight in the road and the sound of a gunshot, according to reports.

A man reportedly was spotted walking away from the scene and was found outside a nearby tavern, police said.

A woman told police both she and the man "had been drinking" and after arguing, the man punched holes in a wall with a trophy before choking her.

The victim's sister corroborated the account and several juveniles in the house intervened before the man left the residence, according to reports.

* Police arrested a 19-year-old man for assault, domestic violence and kidnapping at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 5200 block of East Main Street.

* Police arrested an 18-year-old man for aggravated menacing at 11 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 4300 block of East Broad Street after responding to a report of a person with a gun.

* Burglaries were reported at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 200 block of Barkley Place East and at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 24 in the first block of Collingwood Avenue.

* Thefts were reported at 11:40 a.m. Nov. 21 in the 100 block of Parklawn Boulevard; at 9:10 a.m. Nov. 23 in the 4300 block of East Main Street; at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 600 block of Erickson Avenue; and at 7:55 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 4000 block of Beechcreek Road.

* Property destruction was reported at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 4600 block of East Main Street; at 10:10 a.m. Nov. 21 in the 4500 block of East Broad Street; at 10:50 p.m. Nov. 24 in the 900 block of Rose Place; and at 10:10 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 100 block of North Yearling Road.

* Vehicles were reported stolen at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in the 4700 block of East Broad Street; at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 700 block of South Hamilton Road; at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 800 block of Bernhard Road; at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 24 in the 4500 block of Langley Avenue; and at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 4200 block of Rickenbacker Avenue.

* Police responded to reports of shots fired at 8:05 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 5300 block of Great Oak Way and at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 24 in the 500 block of Collingwood Avenue.
