Teens who are creative or just like helping people are invited to decorate holiday cards for library patrons who are homebound during "Card Care," scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Old Worthington Library. All materials will be provided.

Speaking Volumes, an evening book discussion group, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Old Worthington Library. The group will discuss "Wench" by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. In the book, Lizzie, Reenie and Sweet are the black, enslaved mistresses of Southern white men who met during summer visits to Tawawa House, a Civil War era resort. The trio doesn't bother much with questions of freedom, though the resort is situated in free territory, but when Mawu arrives and talks of running away, things change.
