The public is invited to a free health and wellness fair slated for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the Worthington Community Center, 345 E. Wilson Bridge Road.

The event is the second annual health fair organized by Young Professionals of Worthington, a subgroup of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce.

Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield is the presenting sponsor. The Laurels of Norworth and Worthington are corporate sponsors.

The fair will include exhibits, free health screenings and demonstrations of health and fitness activities, as well as an opportunity to donate blood at an American Red Cross Bloodmobile at the site. Chamber-member restaurants will sell healthy luncheon foods, and door prizes will be awarded.

The event showcases the products and services of chamber-member businesses in the health and wellness industries and is focused on educating the community about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Reservations are not necessary to attend the health and wellness fair.

Area businesses in the physical- or behavioral-health fields that are interested in exhibiting at the fair could receive additional information from the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce by calling (614) 888-3040.
