* To be eligible to volunteer at the library this summer, teens must be at least 12 years old or entering the seventh grade this fall and attend one orientation session. Upcoming sessions are scheduled at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Northwest Library; at 7 p.m May 28, at Old Worthington Library; and at 7 p.m. May 29, at Worthington Park Library.

* Activities for all ages will kick off the library's Summer Reading League at 6 p.m. Friday, May 31. There will be games, crafts, face painting and costumed characters, all at Worthington Park Library.

* Ed Paulson, author of the Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting Your Own Business, will share tips and strategies for would-be entrepreneurs and start-ups at 7 p.m. Monday, June 3. Presented in partnership with the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will be at Northwest Library.

* A henna tattoo demonstration for teens is planned at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Old Worthington Library.

* The next meeting of Worthington Libraries' Decanted book discussion group is planned at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 4. Held at House Wine, 644 N. High St., the selected title is Moloka'i by Alan Brennert.

* Northwest Library will host a LEGOs party for students in grades 9-11 at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 4.

* The library's English Conversation Group for new English language learners will meet at Old Worthington Library on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Class meetings are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. through Aug. 14. Library staff will help participants with basic English skills practice pronunciation and talking in English.

* Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel will be the topic of the Wednesday, June 5, meeting of Speaking Volumes, an evening book discussion group that meets at Old Worthington Library. A 7:30 p.m. start is scheduled.

* Mary Hoover is the owner of Mission: to Save, a blog that helps readers save money by identifying grocery and drug store weekly matchups and more. She'll discuss coupons, store loyalty programs and Facebook giveaways at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Northwest Library.
