Worthington Parks & Recreation will offer five historic bus tours from April to August for those interested in discovering Worthington's history from a new perspective.

Worthington Parks & Recreation will offer five historic bus tours from April to August for those interested in discovering Worthington's history from a new perspective.

A single tour is $14, the cost of any three tours is $37 and the total for all five tours is $60. Register through the Griswold Center. Many of the tours offered last year sold out.

The first tour will focus on Worthington area neighborhoods. It begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, and 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.

This tour will visit seven Worthington neighborhoods and include each neighborhood's history. Learn how various neighborhoods interacted in the development of Worthington from village to city. Included are Medick Estates, Plesenton, the Village of Elmwood Station, Riverlea, "Chaseland," Colonial Hills and Rush Creek Village. The entire tour is on a bus.
