A Columbus man was charged with disorderly conduct in Worthington after reportedly spitting on a woman in a road rage incident.

A Columbus man was charged with disorderly conduct in Worthington after reportedly spitting on a woman in a road rage incident.

According to reports from Worthington police, the 37-year-old man got into an argument with a woman driving next to him near High Street and Short Street the morning of Aug. 22.

Eventually, the man reportedly spit through his own window and onto the woman next to him while still driving.

The woman reported the incident and the man was charged.

In other recent incident reports from the Worthington Division of Police:

* Someone broke into an unoccupied suite in a business complex in the 6900 block of Worthington-Galena Road the night of Aug. 22.

According to police reports, the burglar then cut through drywall to get into the neighboring suite.

An alarm was tripped as the suspect entered the suite, prompting the person to flee. Officers have video evidence of the vehicle, but have yet to make any arrests or name any suspects.

* A woman discovered a drunk man in her backyard in the 6900 block of Perry Drive in the early hours of Aug. 23.

According to police reports, the man was incoherent when police arrived, putting his hands in the air and stumbling in the woman's driveway.

The 22-year-old Columbus man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

* Someone opened an unlocked vehicle at a residence in the 200 block of Crandall Drive, opened a garage door and stole a leaf blower and a generator during the night of Aug. 22.

* Between Aug. 16 and 17, someone removed $1,500 worth of equipment from a construction site in the 100 block of Northigh Drive.

Items stolen ranged from painting supplies to electron-ics, reports stated.
