The Worthington Historical Society's Home & Garden Tour 2016 will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10.

The Worthington Historical Society's Home & Garden Tour 2016 will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10.

The tour's focus is Worthington West of High: The Reimagination of Historic Homes, illustrating the remodeling of early 20th century homes to fit into the 21st century.

In addition to residential sites, there will be a cake tasting at the home of "La Petite Fleur" and a sabering demonstration at 3:30 p.m. (removing a cork from a bottle of champagne with a saber).

An added bonus is a stop at the Old Rectory, with photographs of the total repurposing/remodeling history of the site as it moved from the grounds of St. John's, to Hartford Street and then to New England Avenue.

Advance sale tickets, at $15, are available at The Shop at the Old Rectory, 50 W. New England Ave., and Fritzy Jacobs, 635 N. High St. Day of tour ticket purchases, $20, are available at the Old Rectory only.

All ticket sales are cash or check only.
