A woman said her wallet was stolen from her purse around 4:45 p.m. on March 4 at a business in the 2900 block of Taylor Square Road.
She told police a young female started talking to her and kept her distracted while another person stole her wallet.
The woman said her husband received a fraud alert from their bank that someone had tried to use one of her credit cards to buy almost $2,500 worth of items from Nordstrom's at Easton.
A later fraud alert revealed whoever stole the wallet had tried to make another purchase of about $3,000 worth of items at Nordstrom's using another of her credit cards.
In other Reynoldsburg police reports:
* A resident in the 1900 block of Haverton Drive told police at 5:27 p.m. on March 3 that he came home to find his front door had been forced open and several items were missing from the house.
The list includes about $2,400 worth of electronics, jewelry and cash, according to the police report.
* A resident in the 300 block of Trailblazer Lane reported her privacy fence was damaged between 7 and 8 p.m. on March 7.
The reporting officer said the woman saw two unidentified white juvenile boys use rocks on her fence, then run back toward Indian Creek apartments.
She said the boys used rocks to break about 10 fence boards in half.
