Westerville police said a 34-year-old Westerville woman was arrested after witnesses found her vehicle flipped onto its side near the intersection of County Line and Moss roads.

According to reports, two witnesses came upon the scene about 2:15 a.m. April 23. The first witness found the woman climbing out of the vehicle. The witness told police that when she informed the woman she was calling police, the motorist asked her to hang up because she was drunk.

The second witness arrived at the scene and both helped the motorist out of her vehicle.

When police arrived, they noticed the woman had a "strong smell of alcoholic beverage" on her, according to reports.

She failed multiple sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that tested more than twice the legal limit for alcohol, reports stated.

Officers inspected her belongings and her vehicle and found remnants of suspected marijuana and a bag containing a small amount of marijuana.

She was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance, reports stated.

* A 38-year-old Westerville man was arrested after allegedly pushing a woman to the ground and throwing her down stairs on the night of April 28.

Neighbors called the police after witnessing the incident at a residence in the first block of West Park Street. Although the woman claimed she fell, witnesses said the man used "a lot of force" and threw the woman, reports stated.

The man was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault and taken to the Franklin County Jail, according to reports.

* An employee of a store in the first block of Schrock Road reported someone walked out the back door of the building with a 55-inch television and drove away on the afternoon of April 26.
