Grandview Heights police officers responded Aug. 13 to two reports of thefts from vehicles.

A woman reported her purse was stolen between 9:30 and 10:40 a.m. from her car, which was parked in the 800 block of West Goodale Boulevard.

A resident of the 1300 block of West Second Avenue told police a gun and laptop computer were stolen from the trunk of his car. He said he discovered the theft after a neighbor advised him the trunk of his car was open.

In other recent Grandview police reports:

* Officers responded Aug. 12 to a report of tools stolen from a construction site in the 800 block of Bobcat Avenue. A Columbus man was observed walking away from the area. Police stopped him and found he had an outstanding warrant out of Delaware County. He was arrested and transferred into the custody of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, according to reports.

* A resident of the 1300 block of Bluff Avenue reported Aug. 10 that a GPS unit and change were stolen overnight from her car.

* A resident of the 1000 block of Northwest Boulevard told police a wireless speaker was stolen from her car between noon Aug. 5 and 8:40 a.m. Aug. 7.
