A 73-year-old Georgia man contacted Columbus police at 7:59 p.m. Aug. 16 to report a burglary at a residence in the 900 block of Bluffway Drive.

In the break-in, which the victim said occurred the morning of July 4, $900 worth of tools was stolen along with a $300 "antique register wall clock."

In other recent Columbus Division of Police incident police reports from northwest Columbus:

* A $1,200 air-conditioning unit was stolen at 4 p.m. Aug. 16 from the 5500 block of Hayden Run Boulevard. The theft occurred between Aug. 8 and 12, according to reports.

* A residence in the 6100 block of O'Sweeney Lane was broken into between 7:43 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 16, according to a report filed at 1:16 that afternoon.

The victims, a 44-year-old woman and a man, 52, said a $1,500 television set, a remote control worth $100 and costume jewelry valued at $60 were stolen.

* A 55-year-old woman contacted police at 5:56 p.m. Aug. 14 to report a break-in at her apartment in the 2200 block of Country Corners Drive.

The victim said $455 worth of earrings, a $170 formal dress, a key and prescription medicine were removed from the residence between 6 p.m. Aug. 10 and 7:30 the next morning.

* A $2,000 diamond ring and prescription drugs, $300 in rare coins and a pellet gun worth $100 were reported stolen at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 13, in a burglary in the 2500 block of Burlawn Court. The 43-year-old victim told officers the crime occurred after 6 a.m. Aug. 6.
