Someone broke into "numerous" vehicles in Worthington overnight Aug. 15 and 16, according to recent reports from the Worthington Division of Police.

Many of the incidents occurred in Old Worthington, and reports came from Rieber Street, Evening Street, Riley Avenue, West Wilson Bridge Road and Weydon Street.

In most cases, small amounts of cash or items from the vehicles were stolen. But in one instance, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 6800 block of Rieber Street.

A woman said she saw a man driving a white Chevrolet Impala with temporary license plates in the area when the thefts were believed to have occurred.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

* Someone broke into a glass case at a plastic surgeon's office on the 7200 block of North High Street between Aug. 19 and 20. Six breast implants were taken from the case. They were found "damaged and busted" nearby.

* A resident on the 100 block of North Street reported that someone had thrown trash onto his property and defecated on his driveway overnight Aug. 15 and 16.

* A resident on the 300 block of North Street reported that someone stole a television after it was delivered between noon and 5 p.m. Aug. 11.
