Sculptor Michael Tizzano, seen working Oct. 3 at Old Worthington Library, 820 High St., is getting closer to completing the sculpture commissioned by the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries. It features the popular woodland creatures from Worthington Libraries' past summer reading clubs: Winston, an owl, Ricky, a raccoon, and Asparagus, a fox. The project began in March and should be finished in November, when it will be sent to a foundry and be cast in bronze. An unveiling at the library is scheduled for spring 2018.
