A 32-year-old Worthington woman was arrested after allegedly hitting her boyfriend with a frying pan the evening of Oct. 5.

The couple were arguing at their residence on the 400 block of East Stafford Avenue about the woman taking the man's car without his permission, according to Worthington Division of Police reports.

The woman grabbed a glass frying pan and hit the 68-year-old man on the head, causing him to bleed significantly and shattering the pan, police said.

She "made an attempt to clean up the blood" before officers were called. When they arrived, they found the man bleeding and injured. He was transported to a local hospital.

The woman was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault. She was taken to the Franklin County jail.

* A Powell woman called Worthington police after allegedly receiving texted threats from another woman.

The woman had gone out with a man who did not tell her he was married. When his wife found out, she began threatening the woman via text messages, police said.

* A Worthington resident reported that an MP3 player and multiple gift cards were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on the 6600 block of Masefield Street the night of Sept. 21.

* Multiple vehicles were broken into at Olentangy Park, 600 W. Wilson Bridge Road, on the afternoon of Oct. 4.
