A business in the 2900 block of Indianola Avenue was burglarized at 3:55 a.m. Nov. 8.

After prying open a door and causing $1,000 in damage, the suspect reportedly made off with $2,000 worth of cigarettes along with cigars and rolling papers valued at $500. An individual responding to the scene representing the business told an officer that a copy of camera footage of the crime is available to detectives.

In other recent Clintonville-area police reports:

* A woman who lives in the 200 block of Broad Meadows Boulevard told an officer at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 8 that she had been receiving harassing phone calls from a man she doesn't know. The victim said the calls began at noon Nov. 6 and continued through 3 p.m. that day.

* A resident of the 4900 block of Fuller Drive told police at 7:35 a.m. Nov. 8 that an invited guest had stolen three bottles of prescription medicine that morning. The victim said the theft took place between 7 and 7:15 a.m. The report valued each prescription at $100.

* A woman summoned police to her residence in the 400 block of Broad Meadows Boulevard at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 6 after allegedly being threatened over the phone by a man she had dated briefly.

She told the responding officer that he threatened to harm her if he contracted a sexually transmitted disease after learning the victim was dating other men.

* A representative of a business in the 5000 block of North High Street filed an embezzlement complaint at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 6.

According to the report, cash deposits together worth $2,000 were not made between Sept. 21 and Oct. 10.
