A 16-year-old girl was arrested after allegedly assaulting a jogger at 4:15 p.m. Nov. 18 at the intersection of East Sycamore and South Sixth streets.

The victim told Columbus police that when she ran past a group of girls, one of them kicked her in the shin and laughed.

Reports said the victim picked the suspect out of a group of photos supplied by police and the suspect was arrested.

In other recent Columbus Division of Police incident reports:

* A $10,000 Ford Fusion, manufacturing date unknown, was stolen between 8 p.m. Nov. 19 and 7 a.m. Nov. 20 at East Blenkner and South Third streets.

* Someone snatched a $500 cellphone and car key out of a woman's hand at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 400 block of South Third Street before fleeing on foot.

The victim said the suspect punched and broke her car's windshield, causing an undetermined amount of damage before stealing her property.

* A woman said she was assaulted at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 17 in the first block of East Stewart Avenue.

The victim said somebody jumped into the passenger seat of her car and spit in her face.

* A $300 computer and $300 purse were stolen between 12:01 a.m. and noon Nov. 15 from a residence in the 300 block of East Stewart Avenue.

The victim told police he left a side door unlocked, which the burglar apparently entered because there was no other sign of forced entry.
