Whitehall police arrested a 57-year-old man for aggravated menacing after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with a knife at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 4200 block of East Broad Street.

The victim told police the suspect pounded on his door and threatened to kill him.

The victim said when he opened the door, he saw the suspect was holding a knife.

A witness gave police an identical account, according to reports.

Police questioned the suspect and took him into custody after finding a steak knife in his pocket, reports said.

* Vehicles were reported stolen at 10:55 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 3900 block of Beechcreek Road; at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 700 block of Valerie Lane; at 8 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 3900 block of East Broad Street; and at 9 a.m. Nov. 19 in the 1100 block of South Hamilton Road.

* Property destruction was reported at 9:10 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 3600 block of East Broad Street; at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 19 in the 700 block of Westphal Avenue; and at 1:10 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 400 block of South Hamilton Road.
