In a report filed at 1:50 p.m. Nov. 28 with Columbus police, a resident of the 500 block of East Tulane Road said his garage doors had been vandalized 11 days earlier.

The victim said the doors were undamaged when he took out the garbage at 10 p.m. Nov. 17, but at 1 p.m. Nov. 18, they were open and in poor condition, with glass broken and some wood trim on the ground.

The damage was estimated at $2,000.

In other recent Clintonville-area police reports:

* Model cars worth $1,200, along with a television valued at $889, were stolen in a burglary in the 200 block of East Lincoln Avenue, reported at 8:24 p.m. Nov. 28. The break-in occurred after 2:45 p.m. that day, the resident said.

* A resident of the 400 block of Morse Road contacted police at 5:41 p.m. Nov. 28 to report a burglary. The victim said his home was broken into after 7:30 a.m. that day. Reports said a jug filled with $2,500 in change, $500 worth of cigars, $550 in jewelry, a television valued at $1,500 and prescription medicine were taken from the residence.

* Someone reportedly broke into the detached garage of a home in the 3000 block of Indianola Avenue between 2 a.m. Nov. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 27. The victim said a $1,000 amplifier and tools worth $660 were taken.
